Read scent descriptions as descriptions

Words such as citrus, woody or floral help organise the styles you want to explore. Look for the full note description rather than treating one word or a familiar bottle shape as the whole fragrance.

If a shopper describes wearing it, distinguish that experience from a copied seller description. The haul-review comparison shows how an after-use comment adds context that an unboxing photo lacks. Keep the purchased version and bottle format with the comment.

Compare the bottle options

ChoiceWhat to establish
Bottle sizeThe quantity stated for the selected option, not a size inferred from the picture.
FormatBottle, sample or another described format; whether a spray fitting is included.
Concentration descriptionThe exact wording attached to that version rather than an assumption from the name.
PackagingWhat box or protective packaging accompanies the option, if any.

A smaller format can be a different proposition from the full bottle. Compare the contents and packaging before comparing price, and carry the complete option wording into the purchase request.

Decide what photos can help with

Photos can show bottle labels, the stated option, visible damage and packaging. A clear label is useful for matching what was ordered; scent, longevity and authenticity need more than a photograph.

If a label is turned away, request that view rather than asking for a broad verdict about the fragrance. Keep the packaging intact while resolving a purchase question where that condition matters.

Resolve transport eligibility early

Find the current goods classification and route conditions for the bottle and destination. Do this before combining it with clothing or bags, because the eligible parcel arrangements may differ. Shipping route filters explain which questions to ask without promising that every perfume option can travel on every line.

Once a permitted packing arrangement is clear, include its outside dimensions in the shipping estimate. Protecting a bottle and reducing box space are separate decisions.
