Read the eligibility fields

FieldWhat can change the comparison
DestinationThe country/region and delivery coverage for the parcel.
Goods typeWhich contents the route accepts under its current rules.
Packed weight and sizeLimits, minimums and the applicable charging basis.
Service descriptionThe delivery/handoff arrangement and available tracking information.
Estimated timeThe stated estimate and what stages it covers.

If a line disappears after you change an input, check that input against the route restrictions. Weight and volume explain why dimensions can affect both cost and eligibility.

Compare like-for-like routes

Use the same contents, destination and packed measurements when comparing lines. Then read the service terms alongside the quoted or estimated amount. A cheaper option that excludes your goods is not an available alternative for that parcel.

“Tax-free” or similar route wording needs its stated scope. Find which charges or handling the description refers to, and what conditions remain. Use customs questions rather than treating the label as a universal clearance or tax promise.

Compare sorted prices and delivery estimates

Where an estimate/results view offers price or time sorting, keep the meaning of that field clear. A lowest-freight order can omit a provider charge or selected service from the comparison. A shortest-time order can concern a stated stage rather than the whole purchase-to-delivery period.

First hold the parcel inputs steady and remove ineligible lines, then compare the complete payable/service context for the remaining options. Sorting helps locate a candidate; it does not by itself choose the best arrangement for your goods.

Ask the destination-specific questions

Find the delivery area, handoff arrangements, customs information and recipient details required for your destination. Check these details for the destination you will actually use.

For an offer, check whether that line and payment meet the promotion's conditions. For a packing change, compare the line again with the new outside dimensions. Estimate guidance keeps those changes traceable.

Read protection or insurance before relying on it

If cover is offered, find the covered events, exclusions, compensation basis, required documents and claim process. Confirm which parcel and goods it applies to. A service label or percentage mentioned in a shared list is not enough to budget a premium or assume a payout.

Ask separately about loss, damage and customs-related events; one may be covered while another is excluded. Find the notification/claim deadline and which photos, purchase records or carrier information need to be retained for that event.

Choose the eligible route with the combination of cost, service and conditions that fits the parcel you actually plan to send. Tracking context becomes useful once that parcel has its own record.
